Johan M Ekeström is appointed as the new CEO of Danfo International

As of October 1, 2024, the board of Danfo International has appointed Johan M Ekeström as the new CEO of Danfo International AB. Johan succeeds Jonas Olsson, who is leaving the company after six years at Danfo. Jonas will remain as co-owner and advisor to the company.

As CEO, Johan M Ekeström will bring extensive commercial, operational, financial and strategic experience to Danfo. His career began as a management consultant at McKinsey and he has subsequently held several leading positions within the dehumidification and air treatment company Munters. Johan comes most recently from the role of CEO of a forest industry company in Southeast Asia. Johan was born in 1981 and has a degree in economics at the Stockholm School of Economics.

The board thanks Jonas Olsson for his successful efforts during his time at Danfo.

During 2024, Jonas Olsson will remain as an advisor to the CEO.
