Public toilets are an environment with a risk of growth of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses and mold). As a result, diseases and bad odours can be spread.

BioZone’s air purifier reduces microorganisms to a minimum, which provides fresh and clean air without risk of infection.

This is how it works in a public toilet

Air entering the BioZone unit is channelled into a cleaning chamber. In the chamber, the air is exposed to intense bactericidal UV light that kills organic pollutants.

From the gases in the oxygen, the humidity in the air and electrons released by reaction with a catalyst, the special wavelengths of the UV light create a cleaning plasma that kills bacteria, viruses, mould spores, VOC (volatile organic compounds) and neutralizes bad odours.

Install on existing public toilets

Danfo's public toilet buildings have BioZone as an option, but it can also be installed on already delivered public toilets from Danfo.

"We were travelling for 3 weeks through Skandinavia by car, Denmark, Sweden and now Norway and as a diagnosed severe multiple chemical sensitivity / allergy (MCS) patient your public toilets were the only ones that I was able to use in these countries as there were no fragrances or chemicals used that would otherwise have triggered my body's inflammation reactions as it's a multi system inflammation disease.
